The world’s top 100 container liner companies capacity rankings are published! APM-Maersk first, Mediterranean second, and COSCO third!
According to the latest data released, there were 6139 container ships in operation worldwide as of April 13, and the total capacity is 23.672 million TEU(286 million dwt).
The top 10 global ranking container liner companies are:
APM-Maersk (No.1), Mediterranean Shipping (No.2), COSCO Group (No.3), CMA CGM Group (No.4), Hapag-Lloyd (No.5), ONE (No.6), Evergreen Line(No.7), Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. (No.8), Hyundai M.M. (No.9), PIL(No.10). Their total transportation capacity accounts 82.6% global market.
The 11th to 20th places are as follows:
ZIM (11th), Wan Hai Lines (12th), KMTC (13th), Zhonggu Logistics Corp.(14th), IRISL Group(15th), Antong Holdings(QASC)(16th), SITC (17th), X-Press Feeders group (18th), Unifeeder (19th) and Sinokor (20th).
In total, there are 12 liner companies in mainland China are on the list.
